Frustrating charge issues

Having issues with so called SMART charging. Car either never starts charging or stops half way through charge but doesn’t start again. Luckily we have a hybrid so can rely on petrol power. So much for saving on the tariff rate when you end up paying for more petrol. SO FRUSTRATING.
