App never recognises when car is plugged in

The app worked before it was updated but now it never recognises when my car is plugged in. I’m consequently paying full domestic tariff for ALL my charging… my 15yo Kia diesel is, at the moment, providing world-beating vfm in comparison! How difficult can it be to create an app which actually works?!
